Your body and your health are your biggest assets - without them, you're simply not here on this planet! 

I read a quote a couple of days ago - 'We are spiritual beings having a human experience'. Agree or disagree, the health of your human presence determines how long your experience continues for! 

It can be really hard to invest in yourself, both in terms of time and money - we're all incredibly busy and money can be pulled in so many different ways.

However, regularly ignoring your body's requests and messages will accumulate and you'll likely get sick - your body's way of forcing you to listen! I've had this so many times, before I decided to sit back and listen.

May 2014 - persistent, chronic stress meant I ended up in hospital with a suspected brain haemorrhage - one of the worst days of my life. After about fifteen blood tests and scans and a successful lumbar puncture procedure (after a failed attempt), it was confirmed that it was a false alarm thank god. It was a HUGE wake up call to start listening to my body. From that day, I told myself that I was going to work on my stress, so that it wouldn't control my life. 

I've had a million false starts (and still have them today) but I'm such a way away from where I was. I expect it's something I'll have to work on for the rest of my life, but the dividends it pays are invaluable!

A huge part of my arsenal is food and exercise - eating whole, nutritionally dense foods to both fuel and thrill me, and movement that challenges and fulfills me. Without both, I doubt I would have traveled that far away from where I was. God knows what would have happened them. 

So, I'm asking you to be willing to invest time and money in yourself - you are your biggest asset! Whether it's drinking lots of clean water or committing to doing a little exercise every day, you will see a difference.

Back in 2014, I WISH I'd had some help; I wish I'd had a coach on hand - it would have made the transformation so much easier and happen so much faster. Think of how much easier and faster it could be and happen for you if you had some help. How much time and money you'd save in the long run, how much life you'd get back.
